Ace chopper pilot of the Green forces, considered one of the best pilots in the Army Men world. Handsome and cocky, with nerves of steel, Blade commands the “Bad Boys of the Sky,” the Alpha Wolf Squadron.
He joined the Air Cavalry Squadron after graduating at the top of his class. He fights for what he believes in and will do whatever is necessary to accomplish his mission. During Col. Grimm speech, unveiling the newly formed Alpha Wolf Battalion in the Air Attack events, he was asked: “We understand you’re the son of a highly decorated officer”, and his answer was:
“Yes sir, my father fought in this army. He fought hard and he fought proud. He served the Green Army with honor until the day he was shot down by one of those Tan scum. His body has never been found. I believe that he is still out there… somewhere… waiting to be rescued. I won’t rest until the day all those tan-colored slime balls are eradicated from the face of the planet!” – Captain Blade to a news reporter during Col. Blade history
Early Service
Blade graduated top of his class at flight training and immediately distinguished himself with daring maneuvers and fearless tactics. He quickly earned command of the Alpha Wolves, a unit famed for its discipline, precision, and ability to strike deep behind enemy lines. His trademark cavalry hat and his motto: “Mess with the best and melt like the rest” became symbols of Green air superiority.
The Air War Conflicts
Air Tactics Operations
During the joint campaigns known as the Air Tactics Operations, Blade served as the constant eye in the sky for Hawk. He coordinated troop movements, deployed reinforcements by airlift, and laid down devastating fire to secure Green advances. Without his tactical helicopter support, many of the early Hawk’s victories would never have been possible.
Air Attack Campaign
When the Tan launched their first large-scale offensives across the Plastic World and into the Real World, Blade and the Alpha Wolves spearheaded the air response. Flying transport and gunship variants of Hueys, Chinooks, and heavy assault copters, Blade provided direct support to Green Army infantry, carried out daring rescues, and even saved Hawk himself from being melted under the lens of a Tan magnifying glass.
Air Attack II – The War of Aces
The second great air war saw the rise of Blade’s greatest adversary: Baron von Beige, the Tan’s ruthless ace pilot. Time and again, Blade and the Baron clashed across skies both Plastic and Real, from desert canyons to backyards. The battles tested every skill Blade possessed, not only in flight but also in leadership, as he managed copilots with specialized weaponry to adapt to each mission. Ultimately, Blade’s triumph over the Baron secured the skies for the Green Nation.
Legacy
Captain Blade is more than a pilot he is the embodiment of Green courage in the air. His Alpha Wolves remain the standard of excellence for all aerial units. To this day, his name is invoked as both inspiration and warning:
