Completely blind, Stan became known for his impressive ability to find the enemy without having to see them
Army Men Strike Officer “Stanley” can find the enemy no matter what camouflage they use, by tracking the sounds they make.
The missiles he fires helps to amplify the sound of the location at which they are fired, being able to remotely control their trajectory, either to search and find or to destroy the enemy.
This is where the shape of his helmet comes from: it has a 360-degree sound system inside to monitor the sound from each of his audio-listening devices. And although it appears to cover the wearer’s eyes… well, a blind man doesn’t usually need his eyes, right?
He usually carries flash-bang grenades, which temporarily blind the enemy, and two types of missiles: one explosive and the other capable of clinging to surfaces, harpoon-like, with a microphone to listen to the surroundings.
