The Army Men Strike force claims he was a human who was somehow shrunk down and transformed into a Plastic Soldier by Blocko Plastro.

He has neither denied nor affirmed such allegations, but what matters is that he has proven his worth as a commander on the battlefield, being promoted as such with an emergency field commission that made him acting commander immediately.

Upon his return (alleged their friends in AMS), he was commissioned as an officer in the Army Men Strike force. He was commended and officially appointed as commander by Murphy and Victoria for his actions in the past, and ultimately demonstrated his ability as an extremely able commanding officer fully capable of leading an Army in the most dire of situations.
