In this Army Men: Air Attack sequel, Plastro, the nefarious leader of the Tan Army, has enlisted Tan Air Ace Baron Von Beige to trap Captain William Blade

Hillside Area Near Tan Refinery

A plan is hatched. It targets Woodstock, flying a solo recon mission in his Huey. An ambush, a shredded tail rotor, a crash landing behind enemy lines. The hook is baited.

Plastro’s Office in A Tan Weapon Plant

Blade represents a threat to the invasion forces of the Tan Army — such a great threat that no less than General Plastro and Baron Von Beige, the evil geniuses behind the Tan war effort, scheme to bring him down.

Air Cavalry Hangar

Blade mounts a rescue mission. Damn the risks, he must get his man back. At all costs.

Blade in the Brig??

In this Army Men® Air Attack™ sequel, Plastro, the nefarious leader of the Tan Army, has enlisted Tan Air Ace Baron Von Beige to trap Captain William Blade…

Over Enemy Terrain — Day

The costs are heavy. Hardcore, Bombshell and Hooligan are lost, missing in action. Blade returns alone — to face not cheers and praise, but a court martial!

Stockade

Crouched in his cell, Blade mourns his lost comrades and wonders if he’s finally reached the end of his rope. Rope, that’s funny. His career over, with his whole world crashed down around him, he can only do one thing. He screams.

Real behind the game facts:

The sequel events to Army Men: Air Attack. It was released for the PlayStation on November 6, 2000 and Playstation 2 on March 27, 2001. the game was later ported to the Nintendo Gamecube in 2003 as Army Men: Air Combat – The Elite Missions.

Following the events in Army Men: Air Attack and previous Army Men games, players control a helicopter in the Green Army against the Tan Army, working with character William Blade to defeat their enemies. Players can unlock abilities and weapons by collecting plastic. It features cooperative and competitive multiplayer modes. Players are accompanied by co-pilots, each of which has a special secondary weapon unique to them.

This game had new co-pilots, and some old ones with a new look. This game had many more cut scenes than the last. It included two new choppers, the King Cobra and Osprey which replace the Huey and Stallion from the first Air Attack/Air Combat, in addition to the Chinook and Apache. The new co-pilot is ‘Bombshell‘ who was first introduced in Army Men: Air Combat (eventually Captain William Blade falls in love with her). In this game each co-pilot has a special secondary weapon and can only be used with that co-pilot as opposed to the first one where any secondary weapon was available. It should be noted that all the co pilots change in this game i.e. ‘Woodstock‘ is no longer a 1960’s Vietnam-drafted type soldier, he is a Jamaican guy, ‘Hardcore‘ now becomes more like Hard-core who is now a punk British man. ‘Rawhide‘ disappears all together and a new co-pilot, ‘Hooligan’ takes his place. Also all choppers have a special weapon. The game also introduces a new antagonist Baron von Beige a.k.a. the “Tan Baron” who also acts a rival to Blade. He is based on the “Red Baron” and flies a plane similar to his and also uses Zeppelins like the Germans did.
