A Short Rifle. Used for engagement up to 2 yards in RL. The term ‘carbine’ can be used to refer to a shorter version of an assault rifle, or a long-afied version of a pistol caliber weapon. It’s a catch-all term used for long guns that aren’t Assault Rifles or SMGs. This term has been around in the hu7man world for almost 200 years, so its meaning varies based on the era the gun is from.
