Thick

Too much muscles replacing a brain

Thick as a brick. His name describes his skull, his neck, and the layer of lead he lays down with his M-60 machine gun, cutting down tan troops like a weed whacker does dandelions. He has the body of an action figure guided by a mind no brighter than a penlight.

Thick is the heavy weapons specialist of Bravo Company. Armed with a powerful M60, Thick can lay down as much fire as he can take which usually marks him as the brute of the company.

His tough hide unwittingly has taken a toll on his mental capacity as his mind is also just as thick as well but his loyalty to his leader won’t chewed up as much as his enemies would be.

Thick bios from Sarge’s Heroes to Sarge’s Heroes 2

Thick is the stereotypical dumb muscle of the Bravo Company. Physically, he is the largest, strongest and most muscle-bound member, but is also by far the least intelligent, being described in his Sarge’s Heroes bio as an “educated trigger finger attached to a nearly brain-dead soldier.”

Because he’s so thick-skulled, he has unquestioning loyalty towards Sarge, and will obey his every command as long as they’re simple enough for him to interpret (for example Green being good and Tan being bad).

Sarge Hawk & Thick chopper extraction from a Portal

Thick is one of the main heroes of Sgt. Hawk’s Bravo Company Commandos. He is rescued by Sarge in the 7th mission, Garden, where Sarge must navigate through a Tan infested flower garden in the Real World to find Thick. His rescue mission is unique, in that he does not need to be escorted to the end of the stage, rather he gets to the portal himself before Sarge does. At the end of Garden mission, he and Sarge are seen flying away in a helicopter, and Thick is not seen again until the end of the campaign.

Original Thick from Sarge’s Heroes

Some time before Sarge’s Heroes 2, Thick and the rest of the Bravo Company Commandos changed their appearance substantially (although some did not notice). Everyone except Sgt. Hawk.

Theories and gossip say that this was because they underwent the Super Soldier 2.0 experiment to try to fix their serious attitudinal and mental flaws. But this does not seem to be true, since after this change its particularities only became more accentuated. Thick was one of those who suffered the biggest visual change, although he still maintains a certain air of the original design, which at a certain distance was difficult to differentiate from Hawk.

Thick appears in the first mission where Sarge is tasked to assemble all members of the Bravo Company. He is seen again in the 8th mission, Tan Base, where he and Sarge storm Field Marshal Tannenberg’s base. He is required to be kept alive, which can be quite difficult due to him being a bit of a glass cannon, yet he still tries to brute force his way through enemy gunfire. Thick lastly appears in the showdown between Sarge and Plastro in the final mission Pinball, where Sarge is once again tasked with rescuing and assembling all members of the Bravo company.

Army Men RTS

Thick is a Unique Machine Gunner Unit for the Green Army. He, like the other Hero Units, is highly resistant to most forms of damage. He, like the mass-produced counterpart, is effective at engaging Infantry. Unsually, most commanders have said he can usually can die first if he’s not payed attention on. This is because in RTS, Thick has short attack range, forcing him to go to the front and soaking up damage even though Thick has less Health than Sgt. Hawk, Scorch, and even Vikki.
