The Blue Spies were used to obtain information or move it from one place to another
They are perhaps the greatest threat of all enemies encountered. The information they contain is capable of turning the tide of war. Capture them for questioning.
Even in the age of digital information and spy satellites, the best way to keep secrets is handwritten notes with cryptic messages.
Blue Spies are enemies that appear in several historic events. They usually engage in information traffic or sabotage against the Green Nation on behalf of the Tan Republic.

Army Men: Air Combat
In Army Men: Air Combat, blue spies can occasionally be found among the Tan. They are similar to the basic Tan Soldiers in behavior, but are obviously Blue, and drop powerups on death. According to the game manual, this is because the blue spies have been stealing resources from the Green Army. This is also why Blue Jeeps and Tanks drop powerups on death.
Army Men: Sarge’s Heroes
Initially, a Blue Spy is operating out of a town guarded by a blue Tank and a garrison of Tan Soldiers. Sarge Hawk chases the spy through a town and a bathroom until he is captured. It is unknown what happened to the spy after that.
Army Men: Green Rogue
Apart of Agent Cobra Blue, there were Blue Spies enemies in this campaign, but more than sure they were mere soldiers. They can be armed with rifles, grenade launchers, or bazookas. They are a much lighter, almost turquoise color in this game, rather than the dark, deep blue of blue units in previous encounters. It is unlikely but according to Omega these were Light Blue Soldiers, not Blue.
