Army Men: Arcade Blast, aka Army Brats (Cancelled)

Army Brats (aka “Army Men : Arcade Blast” or “Battle Brats”) was a prototype for a new action game that was in development by 3DO in 2000 / 2001 for the original Playstation. A GameBoy Color version was planned too but it had the same bad luck and it was never released.

This project was supposed to be a sequel to the Army Men series of games, with “kid soldiers” instead of the usual ones. The game was later cancelled, before the company was closed down in 2003.

The unofficial Army Men 3 (cancelled)

Based on the reviews on the internet, it was an incomplete indie game that was too basic and unprofessional (according to its reviews) in which we contributed with some 3D models (the best it has) but which was really unsuccessful and abandoned. Although it is called “Army Men 3” it is really very far from the first 2D 3DO games, which makes its name inappropriate for such a different take.

Unofficial Army Men 3 UE4 cancelled beta trailer

It had a certain fame among some fans for years, due to what it promised, but these were never fulfilled. It is, obviously, a built-in UE4 preset for 3rd person / FPS, not far from the basic preset of those years. A slightly cool idea, but wasted. The author’s real name is currently unknown.
