Green Plastic News

Green Plastic News was the news agency aligned with the Green government and the Green Army until the scandal of the events of ’98. The Green Army wanted to keep the Portals a secret so as not to create panic in the population, but Green Plastic News ignored this request and published everything. The Green Army and even the Green President denied everything, discrediting GPN, practically sinking them into oblivion, until they gradually disappeared. Their last major report was the leak of the Green Airborne Cavalry’s covert operations, for which they were accused of high treason for exposing the entire operation. Although they were unable to close the agency, they managed to turn the nation’s civil population against them, turning their backs on them. Only one company maintained GPN ad revenue: The Nestor Demolition Company

After a few years, time proved them right regarding the Portals, and the abandoned news agency was bought by Butterscotch. Sources claim that she bought and rebuilt it using all the plastic credits she earned as a bounty hunter, which caused it to restart operations with a somewhat restored reputation, but still questioned for this and the other reasons (the Air Cavalry leak).

Currently this media outlet is considered the most oppositional media outlet to the Green government, so much so that it formed a group of followers so loyal that it makes it impossible for the government to cancel its operations, which assured its place in the diversity of information within the Green Nation and the Army Men Alliance.

Green Plastic News’ current reporting is often some of the most daring and risky, given the nature of its star reporter, Butterscotch, who is able to go where no other reporter has gone before. In her words:

“I’m constantly being compared to Vikki Grimm for the obvious reasons. But Vikki was never allowed to go freely where the reporting required her” – Butterscotch
