A plastic man tragically driven by ambition and an immoral scientific curiosity
Frankenstein became interested in alchemism, with the intention of discovering the fabulous “elixir of life”. Shortly after, he loses interest in both this search and science in general, after observing the remains of a tree that was struck by lightning. However, years later Frankenstein develops a strong passion for chemistry. He became obsessed with the idea of creating life in inanimate matter through artificial techniques, prompting him to drop out of school to pursue this goal for the next few years.
A plastic man tragically driven by ambition and an immoral scientific curiosity, unable to deal with the consequences of his actions in “the game of being the Maker”, being irresponsible and negligent. Although maybe there were good intentions behind this original action, now lost in his blind ambition to put an end to his monstrous creation.
The Monster
Soon after dropping school, he created a humanoid-looking creature, perhaps by gluing together the pieces of dead plastic beings and sewing the outfits, perhaps by using a chemical substance, or a combination of both. Frankenstein eventually brings this thing to life only to be rejected and terrified by the monstrous ugliness of this aberrant creation. After his resounding failure, he abandons him, and his creation escapes, disappears and soon embarks on a journey of revenge that causes the deaths of several figures from the Medieval World, who were apparently those who supported Victor’s efforts to achieve “Eternal Life”.
Frankenstein chases “the demon” (is what he calls his creation) into the remote cold regions of the Medieval Realm with the intention of destroying him; He ultimately fails in his mission. He almost died after telling the story to the captain and the explorers of the ship who picked him up, who begged them to publicly declare him dead to give him time to recover and plan how to end his creation. His monster, after discovering the death of his creator, ends up overcome by pain and vowing to end his own existence.
It is important to note that Victor was not “a Doctor”, since he was expelled from school. However, with the arrival of the other worlds thanks to the Portals, Frankenstein was one of the Medieval World’s first to travel to these other worlds to acquire new knowledge for his experiments. Taking apprentices along the way, to transmit his knowledge and responsibilities with the monster in case he die trying. Although he spent his time traveling to pursue and try to put an end to his fugitive creation. So Frankenstein named himself “Doctor” years after learning about the foreigners worlds.
According to the sailors who rescued him at that first moment, Victor promised three times to explain the process he used to bring his creature to life, but never does (he avoids the question three times when questioned, although the fact that notice of the lightning striking a tree in the past is an important clue). This indicates that he was deliberately quiet about the techniques employed to achieve his masterpiece. The clue to the use of lightning is based on Frankenstein’s mention of a tree being struck by lightning at the time of his parents’ death, a detail to which he gives great importance in his existence and possibly one of the reasons why which he wanted to achieve “Eternal Life”, which in terms of plastic beings, who practically live forever, this not applies when the cause of death is external, since although plastic beings are immortal, they are not exempt from dying. at the hands of accident or war.
Frankenstein today
After several years after everything previously narrated, Victor went out to look for his aberrant creation again, with a plan to destroy him: Use the Plastrification serum invented by one of his pupils, Dr. Madd.
The creation was retired in anonymity, living a sad but quiet life, upon finding out that he was still alive he tried to contact him… but when he did it was to be rejected again.
During the years after these events, the monster practically began its existence, where it learned a lot and had enough time to think and develop its own identity and personality (perhaps influenced by the parts of the plastic corpses from which it was made). So when his father rejected him again, he simply chose to retire to start living the life he was given, now that he felt freed from the weight of guilt over the death of the one he considers his father. Even though he rejected it again, the Monster understood and forgive him.
So from now on Victor Frankenstein spends his time trying to hunt down his creation, jumping from one world to another, investigating clues that lead him to his objective, only for the monster to escape again, having to go back to looking for a new place to live, calm and far from the danger of his hunters.
