Shrap is the artillery specialist of Bravo Company.
Shrap is the Squad’s Mortar Man. He used to pull a lot of shore patrol duty, and became a way cool surfer dude as a result. Later he gave up the big waves for the field artillery.
Shrap bios from Sarge’s Heroes to Sarge’s Heroes 2
Depicted as a surfer, Shrap’s attitude, and his habit of calling Hawk “dude”, usually drags out the unwanted side of his squad leader.
However, his ability to ride the waves and expert use of a mortar earned him the role of making any entrenched enemy ride the shock ‘waves’ of his shells.
His name is a reference to ‘shrapnel’ which is the term given to the resulting remains of an artillery shell exploding.

Plastic Surgery?
Some time before Sarge’s Heroes 2, Shrap and the rest of the Bravo Company Commandos changed their appearance substantially (although some did not notice). Everyone except Sgt. Hawk.
Theories and gossip say that this was because they underwent the Super Soldier 2.0 experiment to try to fix their serious attitudinal and mental flaws. But this does not seem to be true, since after this change the particularities only became more accentuated. Shrap was one of those who suffered the smallest visual changes, the more his glasses, maybe?.
