One of the deadliest Toykind
An action figure is a type of doll, made of plastic or some other materials, with points of articulation in its extremities, called joints, in order to achieve their action “positions”. They are often based on the character of a human movie, comic, video game, anime or television series. The other way around also happened: humans created this type of work in order to sell action figures. These action figures were sold as toys for children or as collectibles for adults. Sometimes action figures that can have their clothes changed are called action dolls, as opposed to those that have all or most of their clothing sculpted or painted, or both, onto the material that makes up the figure.
While most were marketed in the Real World as children’s toys, the action figure gained acceptance as a collectible item for adults and was produced specifically for this purpose at some point.
Their world is the Action World.
