The ironically named “Soul Fragments” are parts to build or upgrade some kind of toy. This pun is an analogy based on beliefs of ancient humans.
These Soul Fragments are not specific to each individual, but to each type or model of toy. For example, Bull’s Soul Fragments are only for Army Men molded with the mold called “Bull”, a unique model/design, but one that many individuals are molded with.
