The most unusual Tools of war
These are special weapons and anything that can be used as such, but might be difficult to classify as such.
Global Positioning System (GPS):
This satellite used by the Army Men Alliance is a type of satellite that is launched once a Technological Center is constructed in determined area. Once the satellite is launched, the entire battlefield is revealed to the commanders in the zone of operation, because that satellite joins the satellite network. If the owning Technological center is destroyed, the satellites lost their connection and the terrain not occupied by friendly Army Men units is re-shrouded in FOW. Terrain hidden by enemy FOW Generators is still not shown by GPS Satellites.
Apparently humans left a bunch of abandoned satellites in the Real World, floating in outer space. One of the Blue Nation’s great contributions to the Alliance was sharing its Real World secret: the use of satellites.
Sonar pulse:
The Sonar pulse is used to spot underwater units such as the submarines.
Artificial Portal Trip:
This technology allows the commander to instantly chronoshift a vehicle or navy unit to anywhere on the map of explored terrain. However the unit will return to its original position after a period of time.
Nuclear Missiles:
The nuclear missile is launched from The missiles are siloed and can be fired into unexplored areas. (Does not reveal terrain when target is chosen). But this weapon is considered a weapon of mass destruction, and very polluting for the Real World. The Whiskey Convention banned them.
Steel Invincibility:
Somehow and for some reason, this technology allows one to defy the rules of physics in the Toyverse and turn any plastic object into Steel. But this effect only lasts for a few moments or withstands a certain amount of impacts. It was discovered by Dr. Madd and used in Sarge’s Heroes 2 by Sarge Hawk and Vikki Grimm.
Parabombs:
Parabombs were a support weapon deployed from airplane bombers. They were explosive devices strapped to miniature parachutes that were dropped over a given area and slowly descended down, detonating on contact with the surface.
Paratrooper:
The Army Men paratroopers are common Plastic Soldiers with the particularity of having a ring on their helmet that allows them to allows the use of parachutes, to be launched in the areas to be invaded.
Spy plane (Red Army only:
Another of the wonders of the planes powered by jet engines, but used to photograph and reveal new areas of the battlefield. Due to its speed it is almost impossible to shoot down, although it does not carry any type of weapon, to keep it light.
