It is one of the most famous mythological or fictional swords in the human fantastic literature.

The fate of the sword after King Arthur

In official history Arthur died defending his kingdom from his own son, Mordred. But there are sources of human literature that tell another ending for the hero of the Medieval World.

The storyteller Winnie the Pooh contribute in the matter, saying that a seriously wounded Arthur returns Excalibur to the Lady of the Lake for safekeeping until it is needed again. Or at least this is what these literary sources say, well known by the giant teddy bear. Otherwise there is no mention in the official Medieval World’s story about what happened with the sword. But this version of the story, told by Pooh, at least does not contradict the official story, since King Arthur could have died after returning Excalibur.

King Arthur’s best-known weapon Excalibur, is often associated with the “Sword in the Stone”, the sword lodged in a rock anvil that was only able to be removed by the true king of the Medieval World, but in reality it is not the same.
