It’s the capitol city of the Green Nation in the Plastic World
Not much is known about Greentown. The President probably resides there, and the Green Base might be located on the outskirts of Greentown.
The oldest Green nation town, aka “old Green city” heavily damaged by the last Tan army & Lord Malice conflicts of 2004, and now lost under an infestation of zombies.
Greentown plays a big part in Army Men: Sarge’s War events. The first battle took place in Greentown.
So did the peace ceremony, where the town square was destroyed by a bomb planted by Lord Malice.
Area currently infested by Zombies
Shortly after Lord Malice’s attack on the peace treaty in Greentown, in 2004, there was a zombie infestation that caused the Green Army to have to close the city and quarantine it. Currently no one can enter, and no one can leave it.
This happened few years ago, during the reconstruction of the city, in a zone where looks like that Malice leave a dormant batch of zombies inside a container a Tan Chinook helicopter was carrying, hunted down by Green Army and crashed on the city.
But this zombies have something different… they infect other plastic beings when they bite them.
The Green Army did not want to bomb the city because of its historical and architectural value. For now it remains closed until some initiative is taken, which makes no sense since the situation does not generate problems as it is. The city was already evacuated years ago, and many plastic civilians from the Plastic World have moved to the Real World. Therefore there is no real population need. Clearing and repopulating it would mean a large operation that would use valuable resources the Green Army see no need to do now.
