The Army Men Revolution begins here…
A little look at the script…
“Green Sea. 130 meters west of Plastica, Plastic World” as we see a big Green destroyer military vessel into the water, going forward, slow speed, full of Army Men walking on board, calm music. The cam shot is going further from the vessel, but stops, the same for the music. Then from there rises a big alligator from the water, jaws wide open, darkening the sun behind him as it grabs it from the middle and spins the entire ship upside down. From here cuts to a Green Plastic News report showing the destroyed vessel with a font reading “animals in our world” as we then see Sparrows and Starlings clips creating problems in the Plastic World, following a bunch of cockroaches chasing and terrorizing a child Blocko-Man.
News Reporter: (v.o) Animals and other Toykinds are in our world and in every confrontation, we learn more about this frightening reality. These monsters are crossing from the human world to invade our small and fragile world.
(After the clip of a bat eating a plastic wedding dove, then we see a typical operation of parachutists jumping from planes, but birds appear and catch them in the air. After that we get clips of the Real World, then the Medieval World with Dragons, then a shot of Prehistoric World, with a volcano seemingly after it finished erupting, and the Army Men founding new Portals in the modified terrain. Finally a shot of Dr. Madd castle, where we see soldiers outside, entering and leaving, the latter taking boxes outside.
News Reporter: (v.o) How did we get here? It’s been three decades since the deadly events that of the Green-Tan wars opened Pandoras Box, the Portals. We’ve yet to find a way for these lifeforms to live safely among us. To make things worst, after the devastating eruptions of Prehistoric World’s long dormant volcanos, deadly Dinosaurs who survived were transported to the Real World and from there to our World, the Plastic World.
(We see the narrating news reporter with her name revealed to be Tan Vikki, whatever their name will be, as we see her walking through the Black Forest from SH). Her name, more than sure, will be Butterscotch.
Tan Vikki: Many of the larger problematic predators were captured. But the remaining creatures scattered here in Grey National Park.
(We then switch to a pair of Tyrannosaurus grazing on the forest floor)
Tan Vikki: While most remained in the wild of the Real World, those who made their way to our civilization struggle to adapt to the unfamiliar Plastic conditions. Local authorities have warned the animals are unpredictable and when hungry, extremely violent. Taking into consideration that in the Plastic World there is no food for lifeforms nor anything carbon-based could grow in it, food must be brought to them from the Real World, which results in an unprecedented titanic task for the Army men. However, society unconditionally supports the efforts of the military, sympathizing with these exotic and attractive animals (we see civilians caressing cute animals).
(We see a flock of Chickens on a road and then scattering away, then a clip to an baby White & Black “Cow” Cat flipping over a M48 Tank, purring and playing with it, the Army Men inside fly away, filmed from another Tank. Then at the end we see a map with little draws of Portals and dots going from one place to another, being these different contaminating agents (animals and others) as we see them spread across the different worlds).
Tan Vikki: As the animals spread across borders, a global black market has risen into almost all the worlds.
(We then see footage of Army Men outside a pet shop arresting a screaming civilian woman as soldiers haul out insect cages with Woodlouse -Oniscidea- inside).
Tan Vikki: To combat the growing threat of illegal poachers, the Green Congress awarded sole collection rights to the global Green Nation’s giant, GAARD laboratories.
(We see a pair of hunters on a hillside before shifting to see the GAARD logo. It is here where we see an interview with the Top Scientist a head of the corp).
Top Scientist: At GAARD Genetics, we’re dedicated to the idea that other toykinds and lifeforms can teach us more about ourselves.
(We then see an overview of the GAARD Mountains laboratories and different scientific stuff).
Tan Vikki: CEO Top Scientist has created a sanctuary in Plastic World’s GAARD Mountains where he hopes to study the lifeforms’s ancient immune system’s microplastics in their blood. While GAARD Genetics believes we can handle genetic power responsibly. The public remains skeptical, remembering Dr. Madd experiments.
(We then see a chart showing the percent of people who want the animals to live and people who want them to die as we see a chart dubbed “destroy them” as leading. We then cut back to Tan Vikki speaking to the camera).
Tan Vikki: Some note that these Green government contracts have led to massive spikes in GAARD’s plastic bonds profits. And rumors persist of an Army Men clone made several years ago with soldiers DNA who mysteriously disappeared, leading to a worldwide search.
(We then see a photo of a misteriously soldiers with a backlight, white eyes glowing).
Tan Vikki: Some believe he’s genetically identical to ex Sgt. Hawk, the AWOL old hero of the Plastic World.
(We then see a slowed down clip of an adult Cat hunting a Inflatable plastic T-Rex toy. Then a giant adult Turtle destroying a City, like Godzilla -a rare Hypomelanistic Alligator Snapping Turtle- And finally we see a Bald Eagle soaring over the destroyed city to his nest atop a skyscraper where his chick is waiting, the adult wielding a deafening scream after feeding her).
Tan Vikki: Now we brought these animals back from their world after extinction, can we face the consequences? (cinematic dramatic music starts crescendo) Are we responsible for them or should they be left to fend for themselves to meet their final destiny? As we adapt to an ever-changing world, we must find answers to these questions for their safety as well as for our own.
(cinematic dramatic music raising full epicity) Logo reveals from the shadows, ARMY MEN first, white bited letters, them REVOLUTION in red bitted letters. Green Plastic News ends.”
