After Plastro was in jail, Plurtz resurface later as a member of the Tan Army. But although it has not yet been confirmed, he could be a rebellious Tan commander with his own followers who did not act on behalf of the Tan, or at least they did not recognize him as such.
In Army Men: RTS, hes intent on dominating the Real World using the Green’s own tactics against them, possibly these being the ones who kidnapped and killed Blintz. He is defeated and is a sap about it until Sergeant Hawk beating Plurtz.
