Hawk

Sarge Hawk, sometimes called Sgt. Hawk or just “Sarge” was a Green military leader

Sergeant Hawk was the heart and soul of the Green Army. Decorated many times for valor and martial skill, he was the perfect plastic warrior.

Young Sarge Hawk
Young Sarge Hawk

Decorated veteran of many wars, Sergeant Hawk is the man to call in to get the job done. The ground is his domain and he is king, but he proved to be a good chopper co-pilot. He is a very valuable soldier in battles versus the Tan. Bottom line… if he dies, the Green Army’s days were say will be numbered.

“There’s no where to hide, maggots!” – Sarge Hawk

In the heart of the Plastic World, where imagination knows no bounds, Sarge Hawk emerged: a molded plastic hero with a destiny etched in vibrant hues. His helmet bore scratches from countless battles, and his plastic boots have trudged through the Sandbox Dunes and the Black Forest alike. He was the Bravo Company Commando’s unquestioned leader, an experienced soldier who has seen it all. Was like a tiger who walks like an Army Men.

After loosing Sarge, their nation hero, It looked pretty bleak for the Greens except… they had Sergeant Hawk, the new Green Nation hero. He’s style was “battering ram”: he was a one-man invasion force with a big grin, perfect smile, miles of heart and bright green eyes. Sarge Hawk’s battlefield ferocity was right up there with the mythical Attila the Hun. Almost as if he had been molded to be the hero of his nation.

Full name “Sgt. Hawk” but his friends just call him “Sarge”. A plastic John Wayne who is rugged and brave, trained and guided by Colonel Grimm to be the leader of the Bravo Company of Green plastic soldiers and the most elite squad in the Green Army: The Bravo Company Commandos.

One of the few heroes of our story, Sarge Hawk is the tough-as-nails leader of Bravo Company. After witnessing his father’s demise at the hand of the Tan Army, Sarge vowed to avenge his father’s death by defeating the Tan forces whenever he can. Whether the battle takes place across the vast dunes of a sandbox or the dangerous depths of a bathtub, Sarge and Bravo Company will be there to put an end to Plastro and his evil forces.

Hawk bios from Sarge’s Heroes to Portal Runner

Welcome to a hero’s world:

Sergeant Hawk is the heart and soul of the Green Army. Decorated many times for valor and martial skill, he is the perfect plastic warrior. As a dedicated leader, Sarge is highly respected by his squadron and by Colonel Grimm.

Sergeant Hawk, A.K.A. “Sarge”, ID Tag: 499201, an E-5 Sergeant, was the leader of Bravo Company, a company of Green Army Men plastic soldiers of the Green army and of the Bravo Company Commandos, a squad of Super Soldiers made from the greatest plastic soldiers from various fields.

Sarge Hawk from Army Men franchise
Sarge Hawk before Sarge’s Heroes

His molding date is unknown/classified, but it is estimated to have been during the ’90s (RW Time).

Sarge Hawk leaded Bravo Company’s five favorite soldiers that made up the Bravo Company Commando. Sarge taken his orders from Colonel Grimm, a respected old soldier who has spent a lifetime holding back the Tan menace.

He served under Major Gooding Bravo Company, but after Gooding died in a mission, Col. Grimm gave him command of that company.

“I don’t care how brave you are if you can’t shoot straight” – Sgt. Hawk

His favorite holiday destination is on the front lines, and killing the Tan Army is his favorite past-time.

Sarge Hawk, the Green Army Men hero

While little of his backstory is known, it is known that Sarge’s father was “melted to goo” by the Tan and that he had a brother which middle name was “suicide”. But he died.

He commanded his troops with a iron fist and his nerves of steel has made him survive ordeals that would spell the final fate for any other Green soldier. He had little tolerance for slacking and kept a strong discipline for his troops, often being idolized by many green soldiers as well as being Col. Grimm’s right hand man. He was highly respected by his squadron and by Colonel Grimm.

Army Men Sarge Hawk
Early Sarge Hawk

He was extremely proficient with a variety of weapons, including improvised ones.

He had a personal like for his Green Troops, Bravo Company and Vikki Grimm. He would have done anything to throw his troops into the fires of war and drag them back out of its ashes nearly unscratched.

Sarge Hawk & his girlfriend, Vikki Grimm
Sarge Hawk & his girlfriend, Vikki Grimm

The Colonel raised Sarge like his own son. Although Hawk is tough around his men, he’s soft around Vikki (Grimm’s daughter).

The Green soldiers were fighting for their lives!, but Sarge Hawk was always there to save their nation.

He was the perfect plastic warrior

Decorated many times for valor and martial skill, Sarge is one athletic grunt. He zigzags to avoid gunfire, dives behind crates, rolls on the ground, climbs onto shelves to take a perfect sniper shot and jumps over obstacles at a run.

When Sarge is hit, his reactions are slowed and he may not be able to return fire.

“I’m getting dusted out here! Find some cover!”

The Greens and Tans clashed!

Plastro launched a merciless pre-emptive strike that scattered the Green forces and left many mortally melted. The battles raged with murderous firefights, heroic rescues and treachery…

Even Sarge’s five Commandos were taken captive in some point. Grimm’s daughter Vikki, a war correspondent and Sarge’s love interest, was dragged into the action too. The Bravo boys were Sarge’s best friends and Vikki was his girl. That war had just turned personal!

During the events of Sarge’s Heroes, he is the only member of the Bravo Company to evade capture, and spends those events breaking into Tan compounds and freeing the other members one-by-one. During his escapades, he is the first member of the Green Army to discover the Portals that lead to the Real World. He ultimately defeats General Plastro and leaves him plastered in the Real World.

Apparently Sgt. Hawk did not know Plastro personally, or at least had not been too involved in the past, which can be seen when he says, early during Sarge’s Heroes campaign:

“I’m starting to hate that guy.” – Sarge Hawk talking about Plastro

However, Plastro did seem to know him, or at least to have been involved in some way in several previous confrontations, where apparently through Hawk’s fault he and his troops were defeated by his hand. This was stated in a few quotes and the more during the ending of Sarge’s Heroes campaign:

“Why can’t you just accept your defeat? In all my disability I’ve never meet anyone as stubborn as you. So you want to die?, fine!, we both die!” – Plastro to Sgt. Hawk during a fist fight

It seems that Plastro knew Hawk long before, almost like an archenemy, even to getting tired to the point of wanting to sacrifice himself in order to defeat him once and for all. This gives credit to the theory that perhaps Plastro knew the soldier Hawk was before going Super Soldier, which is classified. And again… this went with Plastro to the grave.

Feats of Valor

Hawk is an experienced Army Man who has seen it all – gritty battles over endless sandbox dunes, frozen conflicts across the icy wastes of unshoveled driveways, and the hi-tech warfare of magnifying glasses held aloft by the hands of cruel titans:

  • The Battle of the Blocko-Man Citadel
The Robochangers, a faction of transforming toy robots, threatened to overrun the Blocko Citadel. Sarge Hawk devised a daring plan. He
assembled a catapult from rubber bands and paperclips, launching erasers across enemy lines. Victory was thiers.
  • Alliance with Blocko-man
In the heart of the Blocko-Man City, Sarge Hawk forged an alliance with Blockoman, the master builder. Together, they constructed towering
skyscrapers, bridges, and secret tunnels. Their collaboration ensured peace in the Blocko Metropolis.
  • The Siege of Mr. Taylor’s Toy Store
The nefarious Cardboardstein, a villainous construct made from discarded cardboard boxes, led an assault on Mr. Taylor’s Toy Store.
Sarge Hawk rallied the plastic troops—the Green Army Men, the Blocko-man, and even some Action Figures. They defended the toy aisles, repelling Cardboardstein’s cardboard minions.
  • Fall of Cardboardstein’s Castle
In a climactic showdown, Sarge Hawk scaled Cardboardstein’s makeshift castle. Armed with a paperclip sword, he dueled the cardboard
giant atop the cereal box parapets. With a mighty swing, Sarge severed the glue-bound turrets, and Cardboardstein crumbled.
  • Destruction of the Cemetery Sandbox Dunes
The Cemetery Sandbox, a haunted play area close to a human cemetery, harbored ancient secrets. Ghostly action figures and spectral Robochangers roamed its sandy expanse. Sarge Hawk led an expedition to uncover the truth. They unearthed a buried treasure chest filled with lost Limited Edition Blocko pieces, restoring balance to the Blocko World.
  • The Kitchen Chronicles
Green Army Sgt. Hawk faced a new threat: the Kitchen Counter Clan. These tiny warriors, which emerge from inside chocolate eggs, battle it out amidst towering cereal boxes, treacherous sink drains, and the dreaded dishwasher abyss. Their mission? To retrieve the lost crumbs of destiny and prevent the dreaded Dishcloth Rebellion from soaking up their ranks.
Bonus: The elite squad, led by Captain Spatula, wields spatulas, tongs, and whisk grenades. Their battle cry? “For the Crust!”.
  • The Great Backyard Expedition
The Sarge Hawk embarked on a daring expedition across a backyard. His mission: to rescue missing action figures stranded in the sandbox, evading the treacherous lawnmower patrols, and negotiate peace with the elusive Garden Gnomes. Along the way, they discover the legendary Frisbee of Destiny, said to grant wishes (or at least fly really well).

Bravo Company

Originally under the command of Major Gooding, Sarge is very protective of his men, so you better not lose any to incompetent command or you’ll get an earful. Too many casualties will result in a failed mission for him. Good fighters all, they are willing to follow Sarge into any battle. They come in several varieties: Riflemen, Flamethrower Men, Grenadier and Bazooka Men. Hawk just always tries to keep ‘em healthy and alive.

But the more important men for Sarge was the Bravo Company Commandos; a bunch of Super Soldier like him, the elite soldiers of the company.

Hawk’s original identity

Regarding Sarge Hawk’s original identity, before going through the process of transforming into a Super Soldier, the Green Army stated on the subject saying that he was just another ordinary soldier, without a name. But shortly after allies and enemies met him, many began to think that he was actually that legendary nameless soldier, simply called “Sarge”. Although this belief faded when Sarge returned to active duty with Hawk some time before both dying in Major Malfunction.

Sgt. Hawk had a Brother

It is common knowledge that Hawk had a brother, but the details are unknown. It is only known that his middle name was “Suicide”, and that he died.

Though he usually worked as a ground commando during Sarge’s Heroes, Sarge also served like one more co-pilot to Captain William Blade in Army Men: Air Tactics, Army Men: Air Combat and Army Men: Air Combat – The Elite Missions.

His weapon of choice was the M-16 Assault Rifle.

Army Men: Sarge’s Heroes

General Plastro and his evil Tan Army have discovered mysterious Portals. These portals offer passage to an alternate reality, a dimension that holds the secret to ultimate power.

But the Green Army has Sgt. Hawk, aka “Sarge,” the one-man wrecking ball. The Tan Army is now in possession of the most diabolical weapons ever created and General Plastro has mounted a full-scale attack on the Green Nation. With the capture of his entire squad and Colonel Grimm’s daughter Vikki, Sarge has a one in a million chance to save the Green Nation from the clutches of defeat.

A flying Hawk

Sarge doesn’t think all too much of the Green Army’s pampered flyboys, but Blade’s about to prove him wrong.

Sarge Hawk later participated in commanding the equipment work of the Alpha Wolf Battalion during its creation, as we can see in the Green Plastic News news films, after the secret was revealed to the public.

After the events of Sarge’s Heroes, Hawk served with the Alpha Wolf Battalion during the Air Attack and Air Attack 2 campaigns. The Alpha Wolf Battalion covered Hawk from the skies during some of his missions and other times being a key role in his missions, as well as Hawk was for Blade battalion.

Latter during this last campaign (Blade’s Revenge) was where some competitive friction was generated between Captain Blade leader of the Battalion and Hawk. Even Blade flirted Vikki, a little too much, during Blade’s Revenge. But subsequent events healed this rivalry and they remained good comrades.

Sarge serving with the Green Army Airborne Cavalry

During the events of Air Attack, near the end of the campaign, (mission 15: Have an Ice Day) Blade and Co. had to cover the escape of Hawk, Vikki and Thick after one of their missions. Between 1 or 2 AH-64 Apache helicopters had to cover these 3 Army Men going different ways, which made Blade’s task very difficult. But in the end they arrived at their destination Jeep to escape through a portal, all of them emerging safely. After this brave and risky demonstration, Hawk boarded Blade’s helicopter to assume the role of Co-Pilot for the last mission: Plastro’s Revenge.

Sarge ending Army Men: Air Attack conflict

For the last mission the Alpha Wolf Battalion used the information provided by Hawk, Vikki and Thick in the last mission to locate and destroy the Tan army’s last weapon of mass destruction: a very powerful Robot, accompanied by an army guarding it. This, of course, ended with Hawk and Bravo Company soldiers nailing the Green Nation flag to the remains of the destroyed robot, culminating the events of Air Attack.

Blade’s Revenge

Both Sarge Hawk and Vikki Grimm were heavily involved in the events of Blade’s Revenge.

Alpha Wolf Battalion debriefing after rescuing Woodstock with Hawk & Vikki

From mission 1 (Plastic is Power) Hawk served in a mission intelligence role, providing details and explaining the situation when the helicopters arrived. On some occasions he shared this role with Vikki. Although it could also be said that he was a kind of commander for Blade, complementing Colonel Grimm.

Blade punished

Hawk even drove what was technically the first Bulldozer captured in the Real World, which the Army Men then reverse-engineered to build their own. In this case, after the mission where Blade and his battalion fought against the Tan for control of the vehicle and who was taking it to their portal to the Plastic World (Mission 8 – Under Construction), they mounted some rocket launchers on it and sent Sgt. Hawk driving him to accompany Blade to destroy a series of bases and Tan troops (Mission 9 – Bulldozer Buzz). This shows that Bulldozers, although used as construction vehicles, can also have weapons capabilities.

In mission 10, “Beauty and the Beast”, Blade had to choose between protecting Hawk or Vikki from the air, for an assault on a Tan radar dish. It is not clear who he chose and who he did not choose, but surely who was ignored must have been very angry with him. Of course, the code name of the mission is a joke: Vikki is the Beauty and Hawk is the Beast.

You are good… i can give you that…

During Blade’s AWOL, Hawk stayed in contact with Blade, understanding his situation, that although he was AWOL it was not to betray the Green Army, but for his personal beliefs.

I don’t approve your… Cowboy tactics. But…
Gentleman, you targets…

In mission 17, “Trash Talk”, Blade had to protect Hawk from the air as well helping him steal a new Apache helicopter prototype. Picking Sarge up at a green base, clearing the Tan base’s defenses, and leaving him on the ground to infiltrate at the base to steal and pilot the helicopter. It was in this part where everything became a little more complicated, since the prototype was difficult for Hawk to pilot. It was from here that Sarge Hawk once again served as co-pilot, taking charge of a quadruple laser cannon that was very powerful for those times.

Sarge helps lead the Green counteroffensive following the plastrification of the Tan Nation’s leader. Sarge, Vikki, the Bravo Company and his Commandos are able to disable the railroad system the Tan are using to transport a new de-plastrification serum, and track down and destroy its source at Dr. Madd’s castle. Sarge is later able to capture Field Marshal Tannenburg and force him to sign a peace treaty with the Green Nation. However, at the signing ceremony, Plastro returns from the Real World, rescued by Brigitte Bleu, and quickly turns the tide of the war with help from a new army created from real-world toys using the de-plastrification serum. Ultimately, Sarge is still able to defeat Plastro yet again, and lock him in prison.

Evil Vikki incident

“You are a disgrace to the Green Uniform” – Green Army Head of Staff

After the Green army used the plastic of Hawk and his Commandos to create a Super Soldier, they needed some time to recover and return to action. After several weeks, the only activity Sergeant Hawk could do at first was to review his skills at Bootcamp. It was on that occasion that something took over him, attacking his allied soldiers. It is assumed that it was something that went wrong with the experiment, which caused it to not be done again. But at the end of that temporary madness, Hawk was able to recover almost immediately, but in doing so he was attacked at the Bootcamp exit by a Vikki double of unknown origin. This femme fatale equipped with a Bazooka was just like Vikki Grimm, but in a Gray uniform. Hawk was forced to finish her off, which is why it was never known where she came from or what this whole incident was about.

Army Men Advance

A new battle was fought. The Tan Army planned to dominate the world using Alien technology. The Green agents reported that Plastro had plans that threatened global security, not just the Green Nation. This would affect both the Plastic World and the Real World.

Previous attempts to discover his plans were thwarted. Riff was captured and Scorch disappeared.

It was up to Sarge Hawk and Vikki Grimm to rescue Riff & Scorch, and thwart Plastro’s plans for global conquest with Alien tech.

One of the most “top secret” Tan’s secret bases

Sgt. Hawk & news reporter Vikki Grimm visited Area 41, the Tan secret base, one night of 2001 during Army Men Advance campaign mission. There he had to fight his way to reach Hangar 13, defeating Tan soldiers and Grey Aliens as well. It is not known for sure what were the motivations of these Aliens, if they were working with the Tan or simply were an independent faction. The only clue thrown by Hawk report was that at the base where they were also there was a starry flying saucer. So maybe in the confusion Hawk and Vikki were confronted by the Aliens when they were considered enemies.

For those times Plastro was planning to use Alien technology to assault to the Green Nation. Hawk entered to the heart of the Alien World, the Area 41 to frustrate Plastro’s plans.

But later, despite having achieved victory over the Tan Army, Plastro got a flying saucer using reverse engineering. So after the Green Army defeated his army, Plastro was the last man to fall, fighting Sgt. Hawk & Vikki.

RTS: Real Time Strategy – Sarge Hawk first big command

“I’ve seen plenty of action in my time. I’ve led troops into countless skirmishes, situations where we knew we could either make it back to fight another day or be reduced to puddles of plastic on the battlefield. But we’ve never had to deal with anything like this before. This mission is bad. Worst I’ve ever seen.

Not long ago, we had this region secure under the supervision of one of our own, Colonel Blintz. That changed when Blintz was injured in the line of duty. Medics did what they could, but he sustained a “massive, disfiguring head wound”. Long story short, there’s a chunk of plastic missing from the top of his head. “Disfiguring Head Wound”? He’s lost his mind…literally!

This won’t be easy.” – Sarge Hawk

The first time Hawk had a full battalion and production capacity under his command. Although it was a small campaign to retake a Real World house, it undoubtedly proved that Hawk was prepared to be an RTS General. Tough-as-plastic hero Sarge and his company of Green Army Grunts have taken the charge to eliminate King Plurtz 1.

Sarge’s War events

Even heroes have nightmares, and Sarge’s worst nightmare is about to come true. His friends, his comrades and his nation are about to be plunged into the abyss of war once again.

Sarge and the Green Army have repeatedly thwarted the Tan in their drive to dominate the Plastic World. Even General Plastro has been forced to accept that Tan trickery cannot defeat the Green Nation’s commitment to freedom!

Sarge was the finest soldier in the Green Army at that time. His discipline, valor and prowess were unquestioned. Despíte having fought the Tan for most of his life, he welcomed the Green-Tan Peace treaty. Malice’s treachery and the threat he brings to the Green Nation, Sarge’s comrades and his friends, have propelled Sarge into a new world of anger and revenge.

But even as the great day approaches, when Tan and Green will set pen to a treaty of peace, doom looms over the Green Nation. Eyes watch from a distance, eyes filled with hatred, rage and evil: the eyes of Malice.

While celebration fills the streets of GreenTown, Malice’s renegade army prepares a doomsday weapon, which will lay waste to the Green Nation and the dream of peace. But they never counted on Sarge.

Sarge is about to be left alone, to fight a war against an unknown foe, with no one to help him. His skill and bravery are about to be tested in a war like no other… Sarge’s War.

…Never fight a man who has nothing to lose.

Colonel Grimm and the Heroes for the last time

Sarge must smash the renegade Tan operations by destroying troops and equipment. From secret bivouacs and supply depots to hidden command, communication and control centers, Sarge must crush the Tan plotters before they lay waste on the Green Nation.

Sarge Hawk in Army Men Sarge's War

It was during these times that Sarge Hawk lost his Commandos, Colonel Grimm, his girlfriend Vikki and almost all Bravo Company, during the signing of the peace treaty with the Tan Nation, after Plastro finally gave up and changed his ambitions of conquest (and died too).
The perpetrator of such a treacherous attack was a renegade leader of the Tan army, Lord Malice, a former Colonel of the Tan Army who formed a renegade faction as soon as Plastro declared his surrender.

After this event Sarge Hawk was the gritter, edgier Sarge version with an all-new butt-kicking attitude. The man have nothing to loose…

Finally, Hawk finished off Lord Malice, achieving total peace in the Plastic World.

Sarge avenged the deaths of his fallen heroes and committed his revenge on the Tan Army some time later, fighting his way through ravaged battlefields in an all-out war of total plastic destruction.

The story of a Green and a Violet

In the beginning of the events of Army Men: Red Alert (post Sarge’s War), Hawk rescues a Violet soldier while seeking revenge against the Tan Army, who he blames for turning a Green Officer into the Tan Lord Malice. The Violet soldier takes Hawk to their base in the Real World, explaining that the Violets fled there to escape Plastro’s conquest, leaving some behind to deceive the Tans.

The Violet Army asks Hawk to represent them i talks to form an alliance with the Greens. Hawk agrees and offers to turn the wounded Violet soldier into a Super Soldier. They travel to GAARD, where General Lilac shares more about the Violets’ history. At GAARD, Hawk, who has been AWOL, negotiates the Violet soldier’s transformation in exchange for his return to service. The Greens reluctantly agree, using the last of the Super Soldier serum to transform the dying soldier into a new kind of Super Soldier.

With the alliance forming, Hawk is tasked with investigating the Tan’s time machine, leading a platoon of G1 soldiers, including the newly transformed Super SoldierBruise” and a female officer named Juliet. This sets the stage for the events of Army Men: Red Alert.

Sarge Hawk: The Plastic General

After Sarge’s War events, a few months later, circumstances still unknown today caused Hawk to re-emerge from his… “voluntary retirement” (AWOL) and fight the Real World War. And he became an unstoppable machine for doing good in all the worlds that could be accessed through the Portals during those times. But he did all this by operating like a ghost, without following anyone’s orders. The Green army & nation allowed it because despite not obeying commands, his work were very beneficial for other toys.

The only words that was heard from him at that time that could shed some light on the matter were:

“I do this because one of the times I didn’t care about others, we all regret it.”

Army Men: Sarge's War Hawk
Hawk last public photo (Riff corpse in the background)

Some time later, in 2006, he died in some unknown corner of the Real World, lost in the bitterness and PTS that these events caused him. This was informed by Mr. Anderson during the events of Major Malfunction.

The Omega Soldier found him some time later, bringing his plastic remains to his nation, followed by a large vigil and a national holiday in his honor, were the entire Green nation mourn his death. Statues were erected in his honor throughout the nation. Military schools, bases and airports were named in his honor.

Sarge was or wasn’t Sarge Hawk?: the propaganda questionable plan

The circumstances of Sarge’s disappearance, although it was only for some time, are unknown and will probably never be known as there is no one who can shed light on the matter. But apparently whatever happened was a problem for the Green Army and their propaganda apparatus, which relied heavily on Sarge. It was for this reason that the appearance of Super Soldier Hawk suited them like a glove.

Although, again, no one can confirm it, it is a fact that the Green Army used the figure of Hawk to make everyone believe that it was Sarge, simply using the diminutive of his rank, Sarge, to refer to him, without ever having clarified that it was not It was the same individual. In this way, everyone who had never paid attention to the news or Sarge’s appearance, and then Hawk, or anyone who did not start to interpret these signals, believed that it was the same plastic soldier. It was even used on the propaganda cover of Sarge’s past campaigns!, when Hawk didn’t exist yet!, among other instruments such as rarely showing his face clearly.

All this changed over time, especially when they began to call him Hawk and when he began to show himself more clearly in films. But even so many people still thought that this Sarge Hawk had been the Sarge of the past, only he was simply called “Sarge“. But although the Green Army propaganda machine clearly tried to make this change as smooth as possible without anyone trying to interpret the truth, in the end it didn’t matter: Sarge Hawk had won the favor of even more plastic people thanks to his heroic charisma and good looks. Hawk’s popularity fever was stronger than it was with Sarge, as it was also a period of better technology for the media, which reached places they had not reached before, including full color filming and other worlds beyond the Plastic World

Only a small portion of the population began to question “Where is Sarge? What happened to him?” But just when this movement began to gain strength… Sarge reappeared. This time to die, which had little impact on society as it was more distracted by the death of, almost immediately after him, Sarge Hawk.

Only time did its things and corrected the history books, to give Sarge the recognition that deserves, although he looks like just another unfortunate soldier. But ironically, who cares about history and the heroes of the past, today, anyway?… practically NO ONE.

Giving closure to the hero

His adventures echoed through the toy aisles, inspiring generations of Army Men heroes. And so, even in the smallest corners of imagination, legends like Sarge Hawk thrive, reminding us that plastic or not, every toy has a story to tell.
