Remnants of a fallen empire: The empire of Major Malfunction
Somehow Major Malfunction managed to acquire an army from another world… but after being defeated, nothing remains but remnants of these toys, which were once manufactured by the tens of thousands.
With their factories and mods destroyed, only pockets of fanatics remain scattered throughout the Toyverse.
White Tempest Troopers
These robot-like hostiles carry lightweight Pulse Rifles that deliver more damage than standard Assault Rifle. Luckily, the Pulse Rifle has a slow fire rate. They are well-trained and will often attempt to evade before counter-attacking. They are vulnerable to all types of attack.
Red Tempest Trooper
An upgraded version of the White Tempest Trooper, their enhanced armor is fire-resistant. Unlike the White Tempest Trooper, these hostiles carry prototype shockwave weaponry which is high on power but low on range. They are vulnerable to all but flame-based attacks.
Green Tempest Trooper
An version of the White Tempest Trooper, but these robot-like hostiles can heal allied units, while carrying a Light Machinegun that deliver more damage than standard Assault Rifle, but less than White Tempest Trooper’s Light Pulse Rifle. The Light Machinegun has a fast fire rate, so their damage per second is superior than Light Pulse Rifle. They are well-trained and will often attempt to evade before counter-attacking. They are vulnerable to all types of attack.
Orange Tempest Trooper
An upgraded version of the White Tempest Trooper, their enhanced armor is fire-resistant. Unlike the White Tempest Trooper, these hostiles carry prototype flamethrower weaponry which is high on power but low on range. They are vulnerable to all but flame-based attacks.
Blue Tempest Trooper
An upgraded version of the White Tempest Trooper, their enhanced armor is ice-resistant. Unlike the White Tempest Trooper, these hostiles carry prototype ice gun (or cryogenic device) that use extreme cold to counteract heat and flames. This weaponry which is high on power but low on range. They are vulnerable to all but cold-based attacks.
Undead Tempest Trooper
These unnatural Tempest Troopers are White Troopers that have been experimented on… and now have the ability to regenerate, even after defeat! They are vulnerable to all types of attacks but can only be permanently de-commissioned by heavy fall.
Silver Tempest Trooper
Considered the most advanced of the Tempest Trooper regiment, the Silver Tempest Troopers often command hostile units around them. Equipped with a devastating, high-powered arm-cannon, the Silver Tempest Trooper is capable of continuous bursts of rapid laser fire. They are vulnerable to all types of attack, but their tougher armor dampens an damage sustained.
Golden Tempest Trooper
Considered the most advanced of the Tempest Trooper regiment, the Silver Tempest Troopers often command hostile units around them. Equipped with a devastating, high-powered arm-cannon, the Silver Tempest Trooper is capable of continuous bursts of rapid electric bolts. They are vulnerable to all types of attack, but their tougher armor dampens an damage sustained.
Tempest Turret
These stationary gun emplacements play an integral part in Malfunction’s defenses. Capable of firing rapid blasts due to a quick reload mechanism, the Ms Turret Mouth can deliver attacks through a 360 degrees radius. It must be deactivated by knocking down the targets before access to its weak rear cog can be gained. It is vulnerable to all types of attacks.
