Considered the third world power, they are always working on secretive complex plans

Blue Soldiers have been seen multiple times throughout the Tannic-Greeno campaigns, almost always as independently hired bounty hunter spies, possibly veteran agents. But throughout the conflicts they their their end, one by one, except for a few.

In campaigns such as World War and Sarge’s Heroes 2, their nations were attacked by the Tan Army, being assisted by the Green Army. Despite this, their international relations did not change much, although the Blue Army always washed its hands of most of the spies in the past, recognizing only a few operatives as their own.

Throughout Army Men Air Attack 2, the Blues were allies of the Tan Army and a source of Plastic for the Green army, since at that time most of them transported plastic from one place to another, possibly plastic payments from the Tan Army to the Blues to rebuild their armed forces. Thanks to these pure plastic parts, the Green Army was able to finish building the first RC Helicopter, put the first UFO into operation, among others.

During the Great Gray War, the Blues together with the Yellows created the Greens as a secret plan to defeat the Grays and the Tans. Years later, scarce of resources after the Great War and numerically inferior to the Reds, the Blues had to manage to make strategic moves archiving great effectiveness, starting their career as spies. During the Cold War with the Reds, the Blues managed to steal several of the most important plastic deposits of the Red Nation, pure good quality Red plastic, creating both the Violet and the Purple, and almost immediately allowing their independence. Some time later it was discovered that this atypical movement was to shield the flanks of their territory against possible Red attacks. Now having 2 non-aggressive nations towards them, which the enemy would have to pass over to reach them.

Army Men: World War

During the first Tanic-Greeno World War campaign, the Blue Army was assisted by the Green Army when the Tan attacked their nation. These events were long before the Blues began working for the Tan, which happened years later in the Army Men campaign.

The participation of the Blue Army during the first Army Men campaign, that of the events that led the Plastic World to discover the first interdimensional Portal, was nothing more than that of some individuals, surely bounty hunters, for whom the Blue Nation never bothered. in clarifying whether they were related to them or not. Their roles were to steal information, traffic it and take it from one place to another, especially for the benefit of the Tan Army. Only on rare occasions did they collaborate with the Green Army, but always in exchange for something, such as on the occasion where Sarge and his men robbed a Tan Bank and gave the stolen plastic to the Blues in exchange for information about the location of the first part. of the key to the Portal.

Army Men: Air Attack

Several Blue soldiers were seen during this campaign, possibly working for the Tans as they attacked the Greens. A few Tanks and Jeeps also appeared.

Army Men: Air Attack 2

During this campaign, the presence of the Blues is somewhat of a mystery. They are seen basically “trafficking” pieces of light blue plastic from one place to another, often even using portals to escape. A secondary mission for Blade was to obtain this plastic and prevent them from escaping with it. Although some of these pieces of plastic were found in other places, possibly before the Blues took them. It is presumed that this was payment from the Tan Army for the work done by the Blue Army. In the mission “Bustin’ Loose” Blade had to destroy a Blue base, the only one seen in the Alpha Wolf Battalion campaigns.

Army Men: Sarge’s Heroes 2

When the Tan Army attacked Blue City, the Blue Soldiers fight the Plastro Army in the streets. They assisted Sergeant Hawk and Riff as they liberated their city from the Tan Army. They used shotguns and M-16s.

Nintendo 64 version of the events

Two Blue Soldiers also appeared in the PS2 version of the mission Revenge, in the building next to the airstrip. They were hostile to the Tan Army, but are only armed with semi-automatic rifles, while the Tan use machine guns.

It is unclear why the Blue Soldiers fought the Tan in this mission, as up to this point the Blues had been allies of the Tan in the past, and were not attacked by the Tan Army until 3 missions later. However, this mission took place in a captured Tan Nation city, where Field Marshal Tannenburg was forced to sign surrender papers, so several inferences could be made. Either they were representatives of the Blue Nation who had flown in to witness the signing that would end the Greens’ war with the Tans, or since they were on the airstrip, it is likely that these Blue soldiers were prisoners released from the Tan base, waiting to be flown home. They could also be part of the Blue Resistance that Brigitte Bleu mentioned. More likely, the Blue Nation’s relations with the Tan Nation were probably more unstable than they appeared publicly.

Green Rogue incident

The soldiers of the Tan Army were Omega’s primary enemy. Occasionally, small squads from the Blue and Gray armies will also attacked. The Blue Army has often allied with the Tan and was famed for its devious spies. The unpredictable Gray Army had been known to sell military technology (and soldiers) to the highest bidder.
